  Meet the Wyoming Nonprofit Network in May for the first WyoGives Media Day in Natrona County!

  On Thursday, May 30, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Art 321, organizations participating in WyoGives 2024 are invited to create video and photo content to help promote their day of giving campaigns. Participating organizations are encouraged to wear apparel representing their cause, whether it be a t-shirt or an entire outfit representing your mission in action.

  This free networking opportunity is open to all nonprofit leadership, staff, and board members. If you have additional questions about the May 2024 Networking Event, please contact Director of Learning and Development Tess Mittlestadt at tmittelstadt@wynonproift.org.

  Networking events in Natrona County are possible because of the generosity of the Natrona Collective Health Trust!

  About WyoGives

  WyoGives is an initiative of the Wyoming Nonprofit Network designed to bring the state together as one community to raise money and awareness for Wyoming’s nonprofits. Wyogives.org provides one, easy-to-use platform where individuals can search and donate to nonprofits across the state that are making a difference in our communities every day.

  The 5th Annual WyoGives will take place on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. The registration deadline is June 10, 2024, with no late registrations being accepted. For more information, will visit wyogives.org.

  Gregg S. Bossen, CPA created QuickBooks Made Easy for Nonprofits in 2000, and has since been teaching QuickBooks seminars around the country for various groups, conducting webinars, providing technical support to hundreds of clients, one-one-one consulting, and offering industry-specific streamable training.   This interactive workshop will cover basic information about the Executive Director’s responsibilities for Human Resources in a non-profit without dedicated HR staff. Participants will leave with awareness and tools to handle many of the HR aspects of their job. A comprehensive workbook is included the training.

  The workshop will cover:

  • Job Descriptions
  • Compliance, including I-9s, Fair Labor Standards Act, ADA, USERRA, and Worker’s Compensation
  • Preventing and responding to discrimination and harassment
  • Performance Management and Documentation
  • Resources: Compensation and other information resources

  Jenny joined the Align Team as Human Resources Director and Consultant in 2022, and one of her greatest joys is helping others succeed. Jenny’s passion for helping others succeed led to a career in higher education leadership, human resources, and training & development. She brings knowledge of leadership and learning theory and excels at putting theory into practice. She uses her strong computer skills to develop efficient and effective processes and engaging training. Outside of work, Jenny enjoys her family, the great outdoors, and singing. She is a member of Cheyenne Rotary After Hours and sings in choirs in the Cheyenne community.
