Join us for breakfast at the farm!
The Wyoming Nonprofit Network invites nonprofit professionals and board members to the Grow Casper Urban Farm for fresh farm-to-table refreshments, networking, and a behind-the-scenes look at one of Wyoming's community learning spaces.
During the event, attendees will tour the farm, explore the educational greenhouse, community gardens, and outdoor classrooms, and learn how Casper Community Greenhouse Project is using hands-on agriculture to strengthen our community.
"Whether you're discovering the farm for the first time or returning to see what's new, we hope you'll leave inspired by what's possible when people come together around food, education, and community,” says Jennifer Gillihan, Casper Community Greenhouse Project Executive Director.
For questions about this event, please contact Wyoming Nonprofit Network Director of Learning & Development Tess Mittelstadt at tmittelstadt@wynonprofit.org. This networking event is made possible through the generosity of the Natrona Collective Health Trust and community partners, including Casper Community Greenhouse Project.
About Casper Community Greenhouse Project:
Casper Community Greenhouse Project's mission is to educate and mentor through hands-on agricultural experiences.
From elementary school greenhouses and outdoor education programs to community gardens and Grow Casper Urban Farm, CCGP creates opportunities for people of all ages to learn where food comes from, develop practical skills, and build meaningful connections with one another and the land.
Today, the organization serves hundreds of youth each year through school partnerships, field trips, camps, volunteer programs, and community events while expanding access to fresh, locally grown food. What began with a handful of community garden plots has grown into a vibrant education farm where classrooms extend outdoors and every season offers new opportunities to learn.
At CCGP, gardens and greenhouses are more than places to grow vegetables—they're places where curiosity is sparked, confidence is built, and community takes root. Learn more at www.growcasper.org.
