This in-person, one-day workshop will empower nonprofit executive directors and senior managers to build skills and gain confidence in leading your organization’s path toward financial health and sustainability. The program will encompass the fundamentals of financial strategy, a useful framework for nonprofit business models, as well as principles of financial leadership with your key stakeholders. This will be a dynamic, interactive program with discussion and hands-on group exercises.

Scott Schaffer, Principal of Public Interest Management Group, is a nonprofit sector thought leader on financial health and sustainability. As past CEO of organizations in the health, housing and environmental fields, he’s led financial turnarounds and built resilient organizations. As a management consultant, he’s helped over 100 nonprofits chart courses toward financial health. Scott has a background in finance, economics, and behavioral science, and is a frequent presenter on workshops about strategic financial management.
