Topic: Census 2020 -  Casper!

Presenter: Joy Clark, Census 2020 City of Casper Committee

The U.S. Census is conducted every 10 years to count every person residing in the United States. The next Census is in 2020 and its critical that nonprofits help "get out the count". Federal, state and local governments use Census data to determine how much tax dollars and other resources are allocated. See Wyoming's Counting for Dollars. Nonprofits also use census data to plan and target their services. The census also determines how political boundaries are drawn.

Joy will talk about what the Casper Committee is working on and how they plan to get everyone counted. Word has it there will be a special mascot (or two) in attendance at this meeting. You don't want to miss it!

Lunch is not provided, but feel free to bring your own.
