The Campbell County CARE Board is hosting a training on understanding families living in poverty.

Poverty: 51st State is based on the work of Dr. Ruby Payne, who emphasized the importance of understanding poverty and its impact on youth and adults who live in poverty. This is an excellent training for anyone who works with those in poverty. Understanding the "hidden rules" of generational poverty can help you more effectively address the needs of those you serve.
